Capabilities

SR Plastics is a leader in Southern California injection molding and has over 50 years of experience in prototype injection molding, molding engineered materials, and injection molding tool design. We incorporate the following secondary operations providing our customers with finished goods upon delivery;

• Plastic Injection molding – We offer a range of capabilities from 50 to 1000 ton machines capable of small high volume products to large thick wall items in a variety of engineered materials.
• Secondary Machining – Our secondary machining ability includes 45 turning and milling centers capable of achieving tight tolerances with the various engineered plastic materials.
• Over molding – Our ability to perform insert and over molding on products vary from metals inserts and bushings, to full plastics over molded products.
• Hot stamping – We perform decorative hot stamping with foils for custom logos and product identification to customer standards and colors. High quality foils are used in this process.
• Insert molding – Our insert molding capabilities include multiple screw and bearing inserts included with the molding process.
• PAD Printing – Pad printing capability for warning labels and identification on all plastic materials.
• Assemblies – Our capability assembly includes plastic molded and machined products utilizing metals and plastic components for partial and fully assembled products.
• Sonic Welding – Binding performed with two similar plastic materials.
