Quality and Inspection

Situated in Southern California, SR Plastics’ extensive experience is in the manufacture and production of precision molded plastic products using engineered plastics in accordance with extreme customer quality requirements for qualified components.

One of the strengths of SR Plastics is our full range of in-house capabilities, including manufacturing and production engineering, secondary operations, and inspection. In addition, a wide range of equipment is available to ensure full compliance with the customer’s specifications.  Our in-house inspection equipment meets our requirements inclusive of SPC reporting where required.

All finished injection molded plastic parts are analyzed and inspected by the SR Plastics inspection department in a temperature - controlled inspection room. A wide range of assorted calibrated and controlled inspection equipment is used to perform all analysis:

Inspection Equipment:

• 1 (One) optical comparator, Suburban Tool with Quadra-Chek digital readout
• 2 Helmel Check master and Micro Star , CMM Measuring Machine;
• 1 (One) Keyence Visual Measuring Machine
• 1 (One) VL-700 Keyence CMM Lazer Measurement Scanning Machine
• Various inspection gages, micrometers, and surface finish analyzers

 

Our quality system is ABS certified to ISO 9001 and AS9100 to ensure full compliance with all applicable industrial and aerospace requirements. 

With capabilities from prototype runs to production quantities annually on the order of 1,000,000 assemblies, SR Plastics can deliver large lots of finished precession  components with a high consistency and quality (with the corresponding cost savings).
